Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Roofer for temporary work in Carlisle. The ideal candidate will conduct repairs and maintenance on void properties associated with social housing schemes. Sellick Partnership is proud to partner with a Housing Organisation on the recruitment of a Roofer to carry out work in the Cumbria region on a temporary basis.

Duties for the Roofer will include:

  • Working on void properties on social housing schemes
  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance work
  • Fitting insulation
  • Cutting and fitting roofing felt
  • Covering roofs with slates, tiles, sheets or cladding

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Qualification in Roofing - NVQ or City and Guilds or equivalent experience
  • Have experience working on social housing schemes (desirable)
  • Hold a full UK drivers license
