A leading healthcare institution in the UK is seeking a Robotic Surgical First Assistant. Encompassing responsibilities such as assisting in surgical procedures and providing clinical leadership, this role demands substantial specialist experience and expertise in robotic surgical assistance. The post holder will perform and assist in all aspects of surgical procedures to an expert level in line with personal competencies. They will provide clinical leadership and supervision to surgical teams and assist with the strategic planning, development and management of the surgical services. They will be a point of knowledge for junior team members and act as a mentor to health professionals who wish to gain competencies within the field of surgery. The post holder will work with consultants.
