Job description

Fantastic opportunity to join a quality insurance brokerage in a “Risk & Compliance Manager” position covering multiple branches around the Yorkshire area. Having worked with this client for many years, they have proved to have a consistently low staff turnover and are able to provide a great working environment.

In this role you will be liaising with and building working relationships with senior personnel across the branches, in particular the Managing Directors and be a key part of the management infrastructure. You will lead and be responsible for the Risk and Compliance, supporting the Head of Risk and Compliance in the embedding of risk and compliance processes across the region.

Essentially you will be ensuring that in relation to Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management, the relevant branches are operating in accordance with the groups Risk and Compliance Policies and Framework.

This role can be home based or if preferred you can base yourself from a conveniently located branch within the Yorkshire area. You will be a key and visible person within the Yorkshire area and so will be required to spend at least 4 days per week within the various branches.

Ideal applicants will have 3 + years compliance experience gained within the commercial insurance sector and be a strong communicator able to deliver the message at a senior level with confidence and authority.
