Job summary

A leading engineering resource firm is seeking experienced Riggers for an exciting project in London. The role involves supporting complex lifting operations on a new build power generation facility. Candidates must possess NVQ Level 3 in Rigging or equivalent and have a strong understanding of safety standards. Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 in Rigging or equivalent.
• Proven experience on heavy industrial or power generation projects is necessary.
• CPCS/NPORS Slinger Signaller preferred, valid CCNSG/ACE card required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out complex lifting and moving operations.
• Attach loads using slings and chains.
• Work in accordance with lift plans and method statements.
• Signal to crane operators for lifting operations.
• Inspect lifting equipment prior to use.
• Adhere to site health & safety procedures.

Job Title: Rigger

Location: London

Project: New Build Power Generation Facility

Duration: 12–18 Months

Start Date: ASAP

Rates (PAYE):

• Basic: £24.75 per hour
• Nights: £30.91 per hour
• Overtime A: £34.05 per hour
• Overtime B: £43.34 per hour

Additional Allowances:

• Accommodation: £355.67 per week
• London Supplement: £212.80 per week

Gross- £2905.06 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out complex lifting, moving, and positioning of plant and equipment
• Attaching loads using slings, chains, and lifting accessories
• Working in accordance with lift plans and method statements
• Signalling to crane operators and coordinating lifting operations
• Inspecting lifting equipment prior to use
• Adhering strictly to site health & safety procedures

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Rigging or equivalent
• Proven experience on heavy industrial or power generation projects
• CPCS/NPORS Slinger Signaller (preferred)
• Valid CCNSG/ACE card
• Strong understanding of lifting operations and safety standards
• Right to work in the UK
