Job description

Discipline: Rigger

Location: South Wales

Duration: 5-6 Weeks

Start Date: Monday 26th May

Hours: 10 hr shifts, 13 on 1 off

PAYE Pay Rates: NAECI Blue Book Grade 5

  • Basic - £22.44 plus holiday pay

  • OT1 - £31.42

  • OT2 - £40.39

  • Bonus - £2.37 per hour

The Role:

  • We are currently recruiting experienced Riggers for maintenance works at a chemicals site in South Wales. This role will involve working on shutdowns, heavy lifts, and plant support activities.

  • Rigging, slinging, and moving heavy plant equipment and components.

  • Working as part of a team to complete shutdown maintenance safely and efficiently.

  • Interpreting lift plans and executing lifting operations under Appointed Person direction.

  • Working in line with site-specific health and safety procedures.

  • Collaborating with supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth operation of maintenance tasks.

  • Dismantling and installation of mechanical plant items.
