Job description
Overview

We are seeking an experienced Management Capability Coach to support leaders and managers within RGL Group and RFLPS in effectively managing employee absence and performance while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing coaching, support and development to equip managers with skills required to manage teams effectively and promote a culture of accountability.
  • Work directly with team leaders, supervisors and managers from different services within RFLPS and RFL Group to build confidence and capability in people management.
  • Lead formal and informal meetings and undertake investigations, disciplinary and grievance proceedings as required to enable team leaders, supervisors and managers to shadow, learn and improve their skills and competence.
  • Focus on coaching, training and real‑time support in conducting absence and performance management conversations, both informally and formally, in line with RFLPS and RFL Group policies, procedures and values.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom or meet the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
  • Provide correct email addresses for referees – private domain emails (Hotmail/Gmail, etc.) are not accepted.
  • Applicants must ensure that both the applicant and the role meet eligibility requirements under the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) points‑based system.
  • Understand that identity and right to work documentation will be verified remotely using a certified identity verification service provider TrustID.
  • Know that the Trust will undertake DBS clearance where required and complies with Disclosure and Barring Service Codes of practice.
