Overview

Revit/BIM Technician — £37,500 (starting salary) • Redruth, Cornwall • Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Revit/BIM Technician to join a consultancy based on the outskirts of Redruth. The client provides full MEP Building Services across sectors including Healthcare, MOD, MOJ, Commercial and Industrial. This is a great time to join as they are winning projects and have a large project pipeline. You would join at the beginning of an exciting journey with the company.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage detailed Revit models for MEP projects
  • Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and construction documentation
  • Coordinate Revit models with external consultants and internal project teams
  • Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and internal/Client BIM standards
  • Support BIM coordination meetings and clash detection processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM workflows and company standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Revit Technician in a UK-based architectural or engineering practice
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and a solid understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication and team collaboration abilities
Desirable
  • Experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, or other BIM software
