Job summary

A leading catering services provider in Hatfield is seeking a dedicated part-time Retail Supervisor to support operations in a major High Street brand. You will oversee a team, maintain exemplary communication and customer service, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Ideal applicants will have experience supervising teams and a willingness to learn. The role offers 32 hours per week with variable shift patterns.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
  • Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feels welcomed and supported.
  • Being a responsible key holder.
  • Using the till, taking orders and receiving payments.
  • Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary.
  • Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
  • Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels.
  • Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
  • Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
  • Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

Overview

Job Type: Part-time. We are recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations in a major High Street brand on a part-time basis, contracted to 32 hours per week. As a Retail Supervisor, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work.
