We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Partnerships team, someone who believes in delivering exceptional service, who can spot growth opportunities, build strong & long‑lasting relationships with travel agents and regional sales managers and use data effectively. Everyone says they are looking for someone special, and we really mean it! You'll be dealing with travel agents across the south of England on a daily basis. Using your amazing personality, relationships and sales skills, you will identify key areas of growth and put plans in place to grow sales and launch products. You'll be spending a lot of your time out on the road visiting Travel agencies, attending managers meetings, conferences and travel events. Some of your time will be spent abroad attending travel agency conferences. Although this is a remote role, it's very much a field‑based position rather than a home‑based one. The Partnerships team is a hugely important part of our business - it's why our suppliers value Holiday Extras so much as we can gain access to partners they cannot. Partnerships are a huge source of trip information which can be fed back into the business and used to benefit us and the customer. Now is a very exciting time to join the Partnerships team as we go on an international mission to grow our partners.

  • Act as a contact person for our travel agents partners.
  • Continuously update and promote the further development of a sustainable sales model.
  • Never lose contact with our travel agent partners by keeping in regular touch with them and you provide performance reports for your partner in order to promote growth. You will use your knowledge of the travel industry, products, sales, marketing and commercial skills to grow and develop the partnership.
  • Report on, evaluate and implement appropriate sales measures to optimise performance.
  • Continuously develop the partnerships and optimise the framework conditions. With your passion for sales, your affinity for technical connections, you demonstrate integrity and develop a high level of trust to ensure lasting and productive relationships.
  • Have excellent professional presentation and communication skills and are able to communicate the Holiday Extras brand and culture at trade fairs and other events, meetings both internally and externally
A depth and wealth of experience in UK travel industry
  • Excellent networking skills, you'll take every opportunity to talk about Holiday Extras.
  • You are a strong sales person and have excellent commercial awareness.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of KPIs and trading forecasts.
  • An outgoing personality who loves new experiences and has no problem approaching people proactively.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport with different stakeholders
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working towards shared goals.

This role will include the need to travel extensively from time to time.
