Overview

The catering assistant role is responsible for serving and greeting customers in a friendly and efficient manner at coffee outlets at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. This role is expected to provide an effective and efficient food and beverage service and excellent customer service and to exceed the expectations of all patients, staff and various stakeholders. Ensure that all policies and procedures are strictly adhered to in the day-to-day operation of food service to patients and to ensure that a high quality of food is delivered.

Responsibilities

• Serve and greet customers in a friendly and efficient manner in the hospital hospitality outlets.
• Provide an effective and efficient food and beverage service and excellent customer service, exceeding expectations of patients, staff and stakeholders.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures in the day-to-day operation of food service to patients and ensure high quality food is delivered.
• Work mainly in the Subway as a Sandwich Artist, with the role requiring work in other retail outlets if required.
• Performs duties across Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust hospitality outlets as needed.
• Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days.

Contract/Salary

• Salary £13.85 per hour. This opportunity is NOT Agenda For Change and terms & conditions vary from Agenda for Change.
