Retail Assistant - Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Sunbury, Surrey. This permanent part‑time position requires a minimum of 8 hours worked across 2 days per week, including weekday evenings and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. This position may not be suitable if you are not able to work these times.

Hours and Pay

• Hours: 8 hours across 2 days per week.
• Pay: £10.10 – £12.31 per hour (depending on age).
• Pay rate: Ages 16‑20 = £10.10 per hour; Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, helping to pack and leaving a good impression.
• Handle stock with care during deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
