Job summary

A growing quality-focused restaurant group is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of the front of house in Birmingham. The successful candidate will manage daily operations, train and lead the team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. Candidates must be experienced restaurant managers or strong senior duty managers with a background in premium hospitality. As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day‑to‑day running of the front of house, ensuring service standards, team performance, and guest satisfaction remain consistently high.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing daily front‑of‑house operations across all services
  • Leading, scheduling, training, and motivating the FOH team
  • Delivering warm, professional service and handling guest feedback effectively
  • Supporting labour planning, stock control, and cost management alongside senior management
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, licensing, and company standards
  • Working closely with the kitchen and wider team on menus, events, and promotions
  • Acting as a visible leader on the floor during service
  • Serving as a hands‑on management role for a confident hospitality professional who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and takes pride in delivering consistently excellent guest experiences across breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or strong Senior Duty Manager
  • Background in quality‑led restaurants or premium hospitality environments
  • Confident people manager with excellent communication skills
  • Commercially aware, organized, and calm under pressure
  • Passionate about service, standards, and team development
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and busy trading periods
  • Right to work in the UK
