Neway International are seeking a Resourcing & Talent Acquisition Support Officer to join our client Lewisham Council.

Location: 1 Catford Road, Catford, London, SE6 4RU
Hours: 21 per week
Start Date: 17 December 2025
Duration: 12 Weeks (Temporary)
Pay Rates: PAYE £19.10 per hour / Limited/Umbrella £24.87 per hour
Work Pattern: Part‑time, temporary assignment
Requirement: Basic DBS required

The Role

The Resourcing & Talent Acquisition Support Officer will provide administrative coordination and support across the Council’s resourcing and talent acquisition consultancy service. This role covers the end‑to‑end recruitment life cycle, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment campaigns, ensuring timetables are tracked and communicated.
  • Liaise with advertising partners and support social media content as directed.
  • Maintain recruitment tracking systems, run reports, and support system upgrades.
  • Organise interview panels, documentation, and recruitment‑related events.
  • Support candidate engagement throughout recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Assist with recruitment training, induction events, job fairs, and diversity initiatives.
  • Upload and edit intranet content related to recruitment and selection.
  • Track redeployment activity and provide reports to advisers.
  • Contribute to projects, recruitment metrics reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, and effective team working.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in HR administration within a customer‑focused organisation.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and recruitment processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (e.g., Oracle Recruitment Cloud).
  • Project management awareness with the ability to monitor progress and meet deadlines.
