A leading professional services firm in Glasgow seeks a Resource Administrator to support operational excellence in resource management. This role involves scheduling, stakeholder communication, and analytical tasks. Ideal candidates are proactive communicators with strong organizational skills. Full training will be provided, and the position offers opportunities for travel across the North & Scotland.
Resource Management (RM) is a business-critical function at Deloitte. It ensures that we have the right people, with the right skills, in the right locations, available at the right time. As a member of the RM team, you will support the business unit leadership and practitioners, playing a crucial role in the implementation and delivery of RM services to provide operational excellence whilst supporting delivery of the business talent strategy. The role is people-focused and is founded on establishing effective working relationships with all key stakeholders as well as holding, or being keen to develop, a good understanding of Management Information. As a Resource Administrator, you\'ll support the Resource Manager, Planners, and business unit leadership in scheduling practitioners across Audit & Assurance. This pivotal role ensures operational excellence in resource management, supporting the delivery of the business talent strategy. You will work closely with the planning team and internal departments for effective resource deployment, utilisation, and development. This role will develop your stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills, preparing you for future advancement.

Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
