Full time, Permanent – Milton Keynes (Competitive Ref No: IPRS7384) Our client is seeking a Conveyancer to join their successful team. The role involves providing a high‑quality legal service to clients in the sale and purchase of residential properties and offers excellent benefits and opportunities for development. The position is hybrid, with remote work considered.

Role Overview

While formal qualifications (Solicitor, CILEX, or Licensed Conveyancer) are not mandatory, candidates must demonstrate:

  • Proven capability to manage a high volume case load
  • Competence to work unsupervised
  • Experience handling a broad spectrum of case types (freehold, leasehold, new build, shared ownership, etc.)
Responsibilities
  • Undertake and supervise fee‑earning work, providing leadership and guidance to direct reports.
  • Conduct work accurately and reliably, following the company’s quality and risk management procedures.
  • Maintain proper control of work in progress.
  • Develop and maintain referrer relationships, promoting the firm positively and professionally.
  • Manage and oversee the entire case lifecycle, applying high standards of client care.
  • Observe all compliance requirements, escalating issues promptly.
  • Ensure effective financial control and adherence to accounts team procedures.
  • Safeguard confidentiality and security of all documentation and information.
  • Take responsibility for self‑development, complying with relevant CPD and training requirements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience in residential conveyancing.
  • Ability to be efficient and productive under pressure.
  • Desirable people‑management experience.
  • Track record of providing proactive, consistent, and professional service to both internal and external customers.
