The Role:
You'll manage a diverse caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales and purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, financing, and more. The firm's established reputation and deep ties in Surrey and the wider South-East region give you access to a robust client base, often comprising HNW and UHNW individuals.
You will benefit from strong support, including secretaries and paralegals, allowing you to focus on delivering outstanding legal work while building your personal brand in this growing market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a wide range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to post-completion, including new builds and high-value transactions.
• Provide clear and concise advice to clients, ensuring smooth, efficient transactions with regular updates.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and third parties to keep all stakeholders informed throughout the process.
• Draft, review, and ensure accuracy of contracts and other legal documents in compliance with legislation and firm policies.
• Navigate challenges that arise during conveyancing with sound judgment and legal expertise.
• Participate in business development efforts to grow your client base and contribute to the firm's continued success.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years' experience in residential conveyancing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex legal matters for clients.
• Excellent attention to detail in document preparation and case management.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
• A proactive approach to business development and building lasting client relationships.
