Overview

Residential Childcare Worker Level 2 | Location: Llandudno (North Wales) | Salary: £25,992 - £27,269 | Start date: Immediate. This is a permanent role with an immediate start date to provide a supportive and safe therapeutic environment for children with complex needs, including ASD and ADHD.

What We're Looking For
  • A professional with a high level of experience in children's residential services.
  • Therapeutic and patient approach to behaviour, understanding the root causes of a child\'s actions.
  • Ability to build trusting professional relationships with children, balancing empowerment and limit-setting in a consistent and nurturing way.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member, providing bespoke support to meet each child\'s individual needs.
  • Essential qualification: Health & Social Care Level 2 (as a minimum).
Responsibilities
  • Provide a supportive, therapeutic environment for children with complex needs, including ASD and ADHD.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with children while applying consistent empowerment and boundaries.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised support for each child.
  • Support and implement individual care plans and behaviour strategies as required.
  • Participate in rota patterns including waking nights and sleep-in duties to ensure continuity of care.
