Research Scientist – Chemical Engineering, Green, Aluminium Hydroxide, Filtration, Chemical Science, Material Scientist, Clean Energy, R&D, Innovation, Chemistry, IChemE, Mainly Onsite (Aylesbury)

This is an exceptional Research Scientist (graduate to mid level) opportunity with a cutting-edge green energy company.

The Research Scientist opportunity is mainly onsite in the Aylesbury area – due to the nature of the role primarily being on hands on laboratory experiments. The company are flexible, so are fine with working from home when practical.

As Research Scientist you will work closely with the science team on a range of new and existing cutting edge research experiments focussed on Aluminium Hydroxide from clean Hydrogen production. Existing innovative projects and experiments are already underway with partnerships with leading names in the industry as well as advanced technology in this field. As Research Scientist previous experience with Aluminium Hydroxide would be even better if it relates to Green Hydrogen/Filtration. A PhD or Master is required, preferably in Chemistry, Engineering or Environmental Science as Research Scientist. Previous commercial experience working within the Energy or Chemical sector is as Research Scientist with Chemical Engineering or Material Science being a bonus. Strong theoretical chemistry principles are essential as Research Scientist as are modern laboratory techniques an equipment (xray, spectroscopy, mechanical Chemical, electrical properties etc) As Research Scientist there may be occasional travel to other UK sites possibly a rare overseas conference or 2 a year.
