We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for a 12 months Fixed Term post as a Band 5 registered nurse to join our Research delivery team based at Yeovil Hospital. This role will be supporting our Critical Care, Orthopaedic and Parkinson's Portfolios.
We are looking to develop our portfolio of Acute and Critical Care trials at Yeovil Hospital with a range of commercial and academic clinical trials working with a supportive team of research active Clinicians. Our current portfolio of trials includes observational and interventional studies. To be successful in this role you will need to be a level 1 Registered Nurse, with at least 2 years clinical experience to include experience in acute or critical care settings or research experience. We are looking for an individual who is highly organised with excellent interpersonal and IT skills, can work to deadlines and a most of all have a 'can do' approach. Applicants need to demonstrate a willingness to train and develop skills required as a research nurse such as consent taking. The post holder will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients, collecting data, arranging tests, examinations and appointments according to specific research project protocols.
