A leading cancer care center in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic oncology nurse to join the GI and Lymphoma Research team. The successful candidates will support patients entering clinical trials and maintain comprehensive records of the research studies. Responsibilities include working with a multidisciplinary team, providing patient advocacy, and ensuring compliance with clinical practice guidelines. This role offers opportunities for personal research and development within a dynamic working environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated oncology nurse to join the GI and Lymphoma Research team. The key worker will support all patients entering clinical trials in the unit, including trials related to anti‑cancer treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, biological therapy, gene therapy, surgery), symptom management or other aspects of cancer care such as screening.
The research nurse may contribute to the development of the trial design and has a key role in incorporating the patients’ and nurses’ perspectives. The opportunity to undertake personal research or further study, in consultation with the lead medical investigator & Senior Nurse, Clinical Trials, is also encouraged.
