A leading healthcare institution in Southampton seeks a Band 5 Research Nurse to provide specialist research and clinical care. The role includes managing research programmes, collaborating with teams, and supervising staff. Candidates must be NMC registered nurses with strong communication skills and a flexible work approach. As a band 5 research nurse you will provide specialist research and clinical care to research participants within your team's study portfolio. You will assist in the management, coordination and implementation of research programmes and you will help to provide clinical supervision to other staff and students. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other research teams to deliver research studies. You may also have the opportunity to be involved in quality initiatives including audits and projects. You will report to your band 6/7 line manager and then to the band 8 research matron.
