Qualifications

• Experience in Stock Condition Surveys for social housing.
• Experience of conflict management and dealing with vulnerable customers.
• Knowledge/experience of disrepair.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer expectations on inspected repairs.
• Carry out Structural and Technical Repairs Inspections.
• Specify and cost works using SORs.
• Provide First Responder capability for incidents.
• Assist with budget control and confirm budgets are on track.

Skills

RICS qualification or experience in a building surveying role

Building maintenance and repair management knowledge

Surveying properties and providing detailed schedules of work

Understanding of mixed tenure blocks and lease agreements

Knowledge of relevant Housing and H&S legislation

Flexible approach to travel and working hours

Education

Ordinary or Higher National Certificate in building or related discipline
