💰 Pay: £28,600 per annum
📅 Hours: 40 hours per week: Monday to Friday (9am-5pm)

Remote Services Technician to support the delivery of SOC remote services through configuration and programming. This role focuses on Track & Trace, Lone Worker personal safety hardware and software, and the deployment of people, property, and asset protection tracking devices. You will play a key part in ensuring seamless service delivery while contributing to an expanding portfolio of innovative solutions.

As a Remote Services Technician, you will assist with customer training, new product testing, and onboarding, driving efficiencies through automation. The position also involves supporting other critical areas such as CCTV commissioning, access card management, and Smartform creation and upkeep. Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

  • Assist in managing customer support queries via phone and email
  • Complete commissioning of CCTV systems into the SOC
  • Program and configure Lone Working hardware and software for customer deployment
  • Support the development and maintenance of the Securitas track and trace communicator system, ensuring a solid operational understanding to facilitate effective customer and operator training
  • Support with administrative functions related to programming and configuring Lone Working hardware and software
  • Proactively looking for areas to improve efficiency through automation
  • Possess excellent practical knowledge of IT platforms and stay abreast of future technical developments to support growth within the department
  • Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance and helpfulness, whist showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the company

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels

  • Experience in a control room environment is desirable but not essential
  • SIA CCTV qualified and licensed is desirable but not essential
  • Problem solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and workflows accurately
  • The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
  • Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
