Qualifications

• Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• A minimum of one year’s post-qualification experience as an Independent Prescriber.
• Clear understanding of confidentiality in all work areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical input on side effects and medication safety.
• Oversee repeat prescriptions ensuring clinical recommendations.
• Support implementation of NHS Electronic Prescription Service for ADHD medications.
• Liaise with the in-house cardiac physiologist for further investigations as required.
• Participate in the development and delivery of the ADHD Service.

Skills

Postgraduate qualification in mental health therapeutics

Experience of using CRM Tools

In-depth knowledge of ADHD medications

Confidentiality in work

Education

Degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council

Minimum of one year’s post-qualification experience as an Independent Prescriber
