A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Lead Electrical Protection Engineer to design and deliver critical substation systems from a remote location. The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Electrical Engineering and over five years of experience in protection and electrical design engineering. Responsibilities include leading technical projects, managing budgets, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. This is a 6-month contract position offering 40 hours per week with IR35 regulations applicable.

Qualifications

• Over five years of protection and electrical design engineering-related experience.
• Proficient in designing and configuring protection relays.
• Ability to travel locally and globally, with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical project activities and ensure project execution.
• Manage project budgets and provide regular progress updates.
• Write project technical documentation and validate solutions with customers.
• Address technical deviations and manage fault reports.
• Lead Factory Acceptance Tests and coordinate site commissioning.
