Job summary

A global technology provider is seeking a Senior Engineer (Plant Manager) to be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a remote power station. This role includes ensuring the safety and efficiency of High Voltage Diesel Generators and Wind Turbines, as well as managing the supply of electricity and water. The ideal candidate will oversee continuous improvement initiatives and mentor staff in safe working practices. This is a unique opportunity located in the Ascension Islands.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe & efficient operation of all Power Station Assets.
• Oversee a continuous improvement programme through audits.
• Manage the supply of electricity and water to the Island.
• Mentor and develop staff in areas such as personal development.
