Job summary

A public legal service provider is seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join the Legal Services team at the Lincolnshire County Council. This part-time remote position, requiring occasional office attendance, involves providing legal advice on various contracts and ensuring compliance with local authority obligations. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of PQE in contracts and procurement for local authorities and possess strong skills in drafting and negotiation. This is a temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of commercial law and public sector procurement.
• Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on services contracts, IT contracts, and framework agreements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contractual documents.
• Ensure compliance and effective delivery of commercial projects.
