Expert Water Removal is hiring a Remediation Technician Apprentice for a full-time position in Tampa, Florida.

As a Remediation Technician Apprentice, you will be removing and repairing water and mold damaged materials and handling any issues caused by water or mold damage. Our technicians are the face of our organization and the first contact a client has after a traumatic situation, which is why our Remediation Technician Apprentice's need to have good customer service and be willing to help others.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well taken care of
  • Responsible for setting up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property
  • Handle any issues caused by water or mold damage and remove and replace damaged materials
  • Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and customers
  • Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image
  • Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies
  • Document drying progress using a phone or tablet

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to be on call
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, weekends if needed, and some holidays
  • Able to follow detailed instructions
  • IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation but not required.
  • Background in plumbing, demolition, water mitigation and/or carpentry is a plus but not required
