Job description
Overview

Relief Supervisory Assistant at Mynydd Cynffig Primary School. Term Time. Temporary until 02 July 2026. 1 hour a day as and when required. The post is for a Relief Lunchtime Supervisor to work during the lunchtime period, term time only.

Details

Relief staff may be called upon to work at short notice to cover absence of other school staff subject to their own availability, during the lunchtime period, between 12pm – 1pm as and when required.

Responsibilities
  • Working as part of a team, supervise the children in all areas of the school, and supervise and actively engage pupils in playground games.
Experience/Qualifications
  • Experience of working with children, and the ability to encourage good behaviour and play amongst pupils would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
  • An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is a requirement for this post, including a Children\'s Barred List
  • Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
