Relief General Kitchen Assistant - Trelales Primary

Job description: As and When Needed. Term Time. Providing primary, secondary and special school meals to 56 schools across the county borough, Catering Services have a variety of opportunities for you to work as a General Kitchen Assistant across their service and would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals.
  • Operate a safe, clean environment for pupils and staff.
  • Lay out dining tables and chairs; in some schools, operate a touch screen terminal (training provided).
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate (training provided if necessary to help you obtain this).
  • Willingness to cover at schools across the County Borough as part of the role.
  • DBS check will be required for the successful applicant.
Working Hours

Working hours will be confirmed upon appointment but will be between 10.00am and 2.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only, to support mid-morning break and lunchtime periods.
