Job summary

A care organization is seeking a friendly and efficient Receptionist to provide excellent customer service at their care home. This pivotal front-of-house role involves answering phone enquiries, providing information to visitors, monitoring security, and supporting administrative tasks. Candidates should have administrative experience, a Business Management or Administration qualification, and strong interpersonal skills. The role requires a self-motivated individual who can work under pressure and with confidentiality. This position operates on a Relief/Bank basis as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in professional administration departments or in a similar role.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, both with company information and staff information.
  • Self-motivated and with a desire to improve systems within the business.

Responsibilities

  • Answering all telephone enquiries in a professional, helpful, and timely manner.
  • Ensuring all visitors to the Unit are given appropriate information.
  • Monitoring the CCTV operations on the site to ensure security is maintained.
  • Inputting data onto the Unit’s computer system to set timescales and accuracy.
  • Supporting the Manager and Administrator in specific administrative tasks.
