Our client requires candidates that have worked in UK Banking with demonstrable experience in developing both UK background corporate clients. Our client does not offer sponsorship, student visa or PSW, therefore 3+ years on visa eligibility to work in UK is essential.

Our client, a Financial Institution, is seeking a Relationship Manager and Business Development Corporate Banking to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Relationship Manager and Business Development Corporate Banking

Corporate Banking will support the growth of the branch business in a sustainable and profitable manner.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to) :

Grow the baseline trade revenues, assets and enhance returns from the baseline levels from existing clients in your portfolio to meet individual and team targets.

Enhance relationships to increase size of deals and explore cross-selling opportunities, such as loans, deposits, trade finance, cash management, FX, bond issuance etc..

Actively look for new clients to expand Branchs asset size.

Provide and promote high quality corporate banking products and services to your clients.

Update and maintain accurate client / credit files.

Carry out Pre-loan investigation, credit procedure and after-loan management, the implementation of the trade financing business review and self-examination.

Carry out corporate KYC and AML related work.

Arrange legal related works including but not limited to documentation and clause negotiation.

Responsible for internal system related works, including but not limited to credit application, review and maintenance.

Produce high quality client support documentations and meetings preparations.

Skills and experience :

Degree Holder (minimum) or higher educational level.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in UK banking sector, with demonstrable experience in developing both UK background corporate clients (not SME or private clients).

Ability to independently undertake both business development and transaction execution.

Strong credit analytical skillset.

Ability to speak Mandarin will be a plus.
