Overview

Medivet Stanmore is a small, friendly practice located in the suburban area of the London Borough of Harrow. The practice is led by Jeremy, a highly experienced Lead Vet with 19 years in the veterinary field. We offer high-quality care and work in a close-knit team, where collaboration and camaraderie are key to delivering the best possible care for our patients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our practice. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinary professionals. This is a full-time role working 4 days per week with 1:6 full weekends at our Watford 24 Hour Hospital. We’re happy to consider flexible or part-time working arrangements. Role Responsibilities
  • Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
  • Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.
  • Carry out nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care.
  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
  • If relevant: Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
  • Dispense and check medication.
  • Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
  • Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience
  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
  • Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
