Join an Outstanding Team as a Qualified Veterinary Nurse – 24-Hour Hospital North London
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional care and ready to thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment? My client is looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to become a valued member of an experienced and welcoming team, recently recognised as one of London’s leading veterinary practices.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive RVN with strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a genuine commitment to patient and client care. If you enjoy the responsibility of running nurse clinics, flourish in a fast-paced hospital setting, and value being part of a collaborative team, then this could be for you.
The hospital is a busy and well-equipped hospital offering advanced veterinary services including MRI and CT scanning, endoscopy, arthroscopy, digital x-ray, ultrasound, multi-parameter monitoring, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. The hospital also has access to a pet blood bank and external lab support, allowing them to handle a broad and complex caseload, particularly in neurology, medicine, and surgery. They support practices throughout North West London and across Southern England, giving you the opportunity to work with diverse and interesting cases on a daily basis.
Beyond clinical excellence: They offer a fantastic working environment. The hospital features two dedicated staff rooms, a spacious garden, and is located close to public transport, making commuting easy. The team is friendly, social, and always supportive, creating a positive culture where professional development is encouraged.
The role is based on a four-day working week, with weekends on a one-in-six rota, ensuring you have the work-life balance you deserve.
You’ll enjoy a wide range of benefits. From your first day, you’ll have access to a health cash plan that covers dental, physiotherapy, and optical services, alongside 24/7 access to a private GP and a confidential counselling service. You’ll also receive life assurance at three times your salary, and a generous annual leave allowance of 33 days, including bank holidays, which increases to 38 days with length of service. On top of that, you’ll benefit from an additional paid ‘Day for You’ to use however you wish.
They support your professional growth with a £750 annual CPD allowance and two days’ paid CPD leave, along with access to internal CPD events and clinical communities. Funded certificates are available, and they also cover your RCVS and VDS fees. Practical perks such as a Cycle to Work scheme, and staff discounts are also part of the package.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering outstanding nursing care to patients, supporting a wide range of surgical and medical procedures, managing patient monitoring, admissions, and discharges, and running nurse-led consultations, including Schedule 3 procedures. You’ll play an integral role in maintaining high clinical standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and helping coordinate care within the team.
They are looking for an RCVS-registered nurse who brings positivity, professionalism, and a team-first attitude. You should be confident in your clinical abilities, particularly in running nurse clinics and supporting efficiency through Schedule 3 procedures, and have excellent communication and mentoring skills.
