A leading healthcare provider in Dover is seeking a full-time Band 5 Registered Nurse for their busy outpatient department. You will work across multiple sites and deliver top-notch patient care with a supportive team. Ideal candidates must possess effective interpersonal skills, work autonomously, and show enthusiasm for patient care. This role is rewarding and challenging, offering you the chance to help develop healthcare assistants and deliver exceptional healthcare standards.
We are looking to recruit a full time 37.5 hour Band 5 Registered Nurse for our busy and thriving Outpatients department at Buckland Hospital, Dover and Royal Victoria Hospital, Folkestone and occasional cover at the other sites within East Kent Hospitals. The post will involve working between both sites.
Applicants must be enthusiastic, demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
The department is both challenging and rewarding. As part of your role you will also be involved in helping to develop the HCA’s who play an important role within the department.
The Outpatient service is a fast-paced, dynamic department who pride ourselves on delivering consistently high standards of work. We are a committed, friendly, supportive team that strives to achieve and put patients at the heart of everything we do. Our service is an exciting team that works across our three main site at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate and Kent and Canterbury Hospital in Canterbury, but there is also a requirement to support patients across our satellite sites.
Our department is comprised of a variety of hard-working teams – Reception, Health Records, Patient Booking Office and Nursing – all of whom play a vital role in the patient experience. Our team are focused on service delivery and patient care and we are looking for individuals who are self motivated with a genuine desire to give gold standard care at every level.
