Registered Nurse Nights

Nursing - Highwood Care Home

Contract: Full Time Salary: £22.86 Per Hour Shift Type: Nights Contracted hours: 36

Highwood Care Home is a brand-new, purpose-built luxury care home in the historic port town of Bideford. We provide Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 67 residents in a welcoming, homely environment.

Due to our continued growth and the opening of our next floor, we are expanding our team and looking for compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a newly commissioned home and help shape its success from the ground up.

What We Offer

• Up to £22.86 per hour (dependent on experience) - Paid breaks
• Contracted 36 hours per week (3 shifts, 7am–7pm)

Your Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will lead with compassion and clinical expertise, ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care. You will guide and support your team, deliver hands-on care, personalise care plans, monitor health, administer medications, respond to emergencies, and create a warm, engaging environment for residents. You will play a key role in fostering independence, dignity, and wellbeing for all residents.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN
• Passion for providing high-quality, person-centred care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Confident, compassionate, and professional approach
• Experience in care homes is advantageous but not essential
