Responsibilities

  • Achieve a high standard of care and lead the care team to deliver positive outcomes for residents.
  • Maintain effective verbal and written communications; make accurate reports on residents.
  • Wound management.
  • Ensure care procedures are carried out according to policy.
  • Be responsible for the ordering, administration and recording of medicines.
  • Provide appropriate personal care for residents.
  • Provide physical, emotional and spiritual comfort.
  • Carry out staff supervision and appraisals with the allocated team.
  • Implement changes in routine and/or procedures.
  • Assess prospective clients/residents.
  • Complete the duty rota as necessary.
  • Carry out internal quality audits.
  • Participate fully in training and development.
  • Assist the Manager to work within agreed budgets.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve a high standard of care and lead the care team to deliver positive outcomes for residents.
  • Maintain effective verbal and written communications; make accurate reports on residents and inform the senior care team of day-to-day changes.
  • Wound management.
  • Ensure care procedures are carried out according to policy.
  • Be responsible for the ordering, administration and recording of medicines according to policy and statutory requirements.
  • Provide appropriate personal care for residents (e.g., washing, dressing, toileting).
  • Provide physical, emotional and spiritual comfort.
  • Carry out staff supervision and appraisals with the allocated team/unit.
  • Implement changes in routine and/or procedures as agreed with the Manager.
  • Assess prospective clients/residents.
  • Complete the duty rota as necessary.
  • Carry out internal quality audits as agreed with the Manager.
  • Participate fully in the training and development of all grades of staff.
  • Assist the Manager to work within agreed budgets – mainly Deputy Manager responsibilities.
