A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a passionate registered nurse to join their team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care and support within the Elective Services department. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential, along with desirable skills such as venepuncture and cannulation. This role requires driving for cross-site cover, with a contract of 30 hours per week.
A Vacancy at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The Medical Elective Services (MES) treat approximately 600 patients a month. We provide treatments for all specialities within York Hospital and the service we provide is nurse led. MES is an outpatient service open Monday to Friday, 0700-1900.

The successful applicants must possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team as well as on their own autonomously. We require a staff nurse who has drive and passion for this area of work and is committed to the delivery and development of nurse-led services. Skills such as venepuncture, cannulation and intravenous drug administration are desirable. With the exciting development of an MES clinic at Selby, driving is an essential part of the role as cross-site cover is required. The post advertised is for 30 hours per week. Interviews for this position will be held in person only and remote interviews will not be offered. Previous applicants within 6 months need not apply.
