Qualifications

• Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Demonstrate a minimum 2 years’ experience and up to date knowledge of care.
• Display good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct care activities.
• Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Responsibilities

• Act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required.
• Undertake nursing tasks including medication distribution and catheterisation.
• Advise families and GPs of changes in resident conditions.
• Supervise staff within the care team and ensure tasks are completed.
