A healthcare organization is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the Pre-Operative Assessment Unit in Launceston. The role involves preparing patients for elective surgery, conducting assessments, and ensuring high-quality care. Applicants should be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and have relevant surgical experience. This part-time position offers a salary between $80,524 to $109,175 per annum and includes additional benefits such as superannuation and professional development opportunities.
The Pre-Operative Assessment Unit is part of Peri-operative Services at the Launceston General Hospital. The team is multidisciplinary, including, nurses, anaesthetists, allied health, and works closely with the Admissions team, and Elective Surgery Access Co-ordinators.
They are responsible for preparing patients for elective surgery, including high risk assessments, phone reviews, and face to face assessments.

$80,524 to $109,175 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
