Job responsibilities

Role: Registered Nurse acts as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing instructions to act on behalf of the Manager, while ensuring high standards of care for residents.

  • Undertake nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Advise families and GPs of changes in residents’ condition and keep them informed to support ongoing care decisions.
  • Effectively deploy and supervise the care team to ensure all tasks are completed during the shift and residents receive the required care.
  • Provide high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

Shift details: 7:00 to 19:30 or 19:00 to 07:30
