Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health conditions and needs through thorough examinations and evaluations.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans based on patients' medical histories and current health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patients' progress, documenting changes in their condition and responding promptly to any concerns.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
- Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on Update Service
- Mandatory Training Certificates
- Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.
- Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not essential for newly qualified nurses.
- A commitment to providing compassionate patient care with a focus on quality outcomes.
- Knowledge of current healthcare practices and regulations is advantageous.
