Main duties

As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, you will act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and following instructions to act on their behalf. Your responsibilities include undertaking nursing tasks such as distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of staff, ensuring high standards of care for residents.

Job responsibilities
  • Undertaking nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition and keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care decisions.
  • Responsibility for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring tasks are completed during duty and residents receive required care.
  • Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
