Qualifications

Job description

We are working on behalf of a growing childrens residential care provider who are recruiting experienced and passionate Registered Managers to lead two EBD childrens homes supporting young people aged 818. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape high-quality, therapeutic environments where children feel safe, supported, and empowered.

Applications are welcome from both experienced Registered Managers and strong Deputy Managers ready to step into their first Registered Manager role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day running of two childrens homes
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and Childrens Homes Regulations
  • Develop and mentor staff teams within a trauma-informed culture
  • Oversee safeguarding, audits, incident reviews, and quality assurance
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, schools, and health professionals
  • Manage budgets, rotas, staffing, and resources effectively
  • Oversee personalised care plans that support emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs
About You
  • Experience supporting young people with EBD / challenging behaviours
  • Registered Manager experience or strong deputy-level background
  • Excellent understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted expectations, and regulatory standards
  • Resilient, confident decision-maker with strong leadership skills
  • Level 4 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
