A leading social care organization in Radstock seeks a Registered Manager for a therapeutic children's home. The role involves managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing trauma-informed care. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of residential childcare experience and strong leadership skills. REGISTERED MANAGER THERAPEUTIC CHILDREN HOME
Location: Radstock, Bath and North East Somerset
Salary: 48,000 per annum plus bonuses

You will manage all aspects of the home's operation, including safeguarding, staff leadership, and the delivery of trauma-informed care. Your leadership will ensure compliance with regulations and promote a culture of warmth, stability, and therapeutic support.
Lead day-to-day management and development of the home
Oversee personalised, trauma-informed care plans
Manage safeguarding, staff training, supervision, and wellbeing
Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and other legislation
Promote reflective practice and therapeutic approaches across the team
Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections
Coordinate staff rotas including out-of-hours cover
Maintain high-quality records and reporting
Participate in integrated therapeutic planning and assessments
Minimum 2 years' residential childcare experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification or willingness to work towards this within 2 years
Strong leadership and team development skills
Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care, PACE, safeguarding, and Children's Homes Regulations 2015
Confidence to register with Ofsted and complete the Fit Person Interview
Full UK manual driving licence
