A children’s residential care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a network of children's homes across London. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality, child-centred care, support staff development, and manage compliance with Ofsted regulations. This role offers a competitive salary of £55,000–£65,000, with opportunities for professional growth and a supportive leadership team. We are recruiting an experienced and ambitious Registered Manager to support a growing network of children’s residential homes across London. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable leader who is passionate about delivering safe, high-quality, child-centred care.
We welcome applications from individuals with senior experience in children’s social care, including Deputy Managers, Team Leaders and Senior Support Workers ready to step up into a Registered Manager role.
Lead and supervise a team of care professionals, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and professionalism
Develop, implement, and regularly review individualised care plans tailored to each child’s unique needs
Oversee safe medication administration in line with organisational policy, clinical guidance, and regulatory standards
Monitor and support daily routines, activities, and behaviour to ensure the safety, well-being, and positive engagement of all children
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including care plans, incident reports, audits, and compliance records
Provide strong leadership during staff training sessions, promoting continuous professional development in relevant areas
Liaise effectively with families, social workers, healthcare professionals, education providers, and external agencies
Ensure the service complies with all Ofsted, safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control requirements
Lead inspections, audits, and service improvement initiatives
Work collaboratively with senior leadership to support the development and growth of new and existing homes
Manage staffing, rotas, supervision, appraisals and overall team performance
Promote a positive, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people
Senior experience in children’s residential or social care settings
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation, and residential care standards
Proven experience managing teams within a care or support environment
Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate staff
Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
A commitment to improving life outcomes for children and young people
£55,000–£65,000 annual salary
£250 monthly retainer paid until your official start date
