Children's Home Registered Manager

Location: London & Surrounding Areas

Salary: £55,000 (Year 1), rising to £65,000 (Year 2)

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Children's Home Registered Manager to join our growing organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team providing high-quality care for children and young people with complex needs and learning difficulties.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the home complies with Ofsted regulations and achieves at least “Good” or “Excellent” ratings.
  • Lead, support, and develop the staff team to deliver outstanding care and positive outcomes.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, including budgeting, staffing, and rota planning.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
  • Develop and maintain individual care plans and risk assessments.
  • Liaise with external professionals, families, and local authorities.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and standards are consistently followed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children's residential setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
