Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Regional Manager, Responsible Individual, or Senior Registered Manager within children’s residential care.
  • Strong track record of Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the region.

Job Title : Regional Manager – Children’s Residential Services

Location : Preston

Pay Rate : £70,000 – £85,000 per annum

Job Description :

Liquid Personnel is looking for an experienced and driven Regional Manager to oversee a group of high-quality Children’s Homes of its client in the Preston area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior leader with a Good to Outstanding Ofsted track record who is ready to take on a new challenge and help shape the future of residential childcare in the region.

Our client is a leading provider of therapeutic residential care for children and young people with complex needs. Their homes are nurturing, safe, and child-centred, with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, education, and long-term outcomes. They are committed to giving every child the opportunity to thrive in a stable and supportive environment.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting new foster parents and managing their licensing, re-licensing, and training.
  • You will coordinate relationships with counties and referral sources, meet bi-weekly with children and foster parents, and oversee daily operations of the regional program.
  • You will design and implement a recruitment plan to support program growth and ensure all state requirements are met in foster homes.
  • Additionally, you will handle grievances, maintain knowledge of program and clinical processes, and participate in internal and external committees to address Social Policy regarding foster care and children aging out.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the State Director, Treatment Foster Care.

  • Qualifications & Experience :

    To be successful in this role you must have,

  • Proven experience as aRegional Manager,Responsible Individual, orSenior Registered Managerwithin children’s residential care
  • A strong track record ofGood or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to lead, inspire, and develop multiple teams
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the region
