The role

As a Desktop Support Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our IT operations, ensuring our teams have the tools they need to deliver critical missions. This is a role where your expertise directly supports national security and defence and where your career can grow in a dynamic, forward‑thinking environment.

Day‑to‑day, you’ll provide second‑line technical support across multiple sites, maintaining and improving desktop environments that keep our people connected and effective.

  • Deliver second‑line technical support to agreed Service Levels
  • Maintain and configure desktop environments across multiple sites
  • Resolve hardware and software issues for PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Support videoconferencing and LAN connectivity
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless IT operations

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 4 days onsite and 1 day working from home.

Essential experience of the Regional Desktop Support Analyst
  • Experience working in a Service Delivery environment (ITIL processes)
  • Proven ability to meet Service Level Agreements
  • Skilled in providing 2nd Line desktop support in a Windows 10 environment
  • Ability to configure and support business‑use mobile devices
  • Troubleshooting across PCs, laptops, printers, LAN, and videoconferencing systems
