A staffing agency in Leicester Forest East is seeking a Refuge Practitioner to provide one-to-one support and facilitate group sessions within a refuge. Overview

Refuge Practitioner – Leicester City, working across two locations. Temporary with potential to become permanent. £13.73 per hour. 30.5 hours per week – Wednesday to Sunday.

What you'll be doing
  • Delivering one-to-one support and facilitating group sessions with residents.
  • Working closely with external partners on matters such as housing, welfare benefits, safeguarding, and wellbeing.
  • Maintaining accurate case notes and adhering to confidentiality standards.
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the refuge and creating a welcoming space.
What we\'re looking for
  • A compassionate, reliable, and approachable individual.
  • Someone who can work well on their own initiative as well as part of a wider team.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential, as you\'ll travel between two sites in the city.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding would be an advantage (training is available).
  • Previous experience in a similar setting is desirable, but we are equally keen to hear from applicants who are studying or training in psychology, social care, counselling, or related areas.
  • An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
